Over three in five sales of Apple devices are international, says the US based tech giant in its fourth quarter results.
The company posted quarterly revenue of $51.5 billion and quarterly net profit of $11.1 billion. Gross margin was 39.9 percent compared to 38 percent in the year-ago quarter. International sales accounted for 62 percent of the quarter’s revenue.
The growth was fuelled by record fourth quarter sales of iPhone, the expanded availability of Apple Watch, and all-time records for Mac sales and revenue from services.
Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, said: “We are heading into the holidays with our strongest product lineup yet, including iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, Apple Watch with an expanded lineup of cases and bands, the new iPad Pro and the all-new Apple TV which begins shipping this week.”
Wrappers is designer/maker of all its products and can have matching accessories tailored to fit devices within days of launch. This is a big advantage over mass manufacture abroad given Apple has increased the form factors of its devices. For MacBook, Wrappers now offers five distinct sleeve sizes for 12 inch, Air 11 inch and 3 inch and Pro 13 inch and 15 inch.
